City Lights Church Planting and Mission Network
is a coalition of city-focused, missional churches, businesses, and individuals working to plant new missional churches and ministries in African-American majority geographic communities in DFW.
Where are we working?
City Lights, churches, and leadership will primarily invest in these five areas of DFW. Together as a network of churches, businesses, and community-minded individual leaders, we will work together to share the love of Jesus for all in the following ways.
Plant local, independent churches led by locally-developed lay leaders and pastors
Raise up leaders from the community who will educate and raise up more leaders from the community
Start new social ministries to meet the voiced needs of the African-American community
Create partnerships between churches, businesses, and the wider community to open new, hopeful doors of opportunity
