Welcome to ART Church - DeSoto
ART Church - DeSoto, the first church plant of the City Lights Church Planting and Mission Network, launched on February 27, 2022 with a celebration worship service in north DeSoto. Our mission is to be a church that reproduces throughout the southeast sector Dallas. We strive to be a community that reflects and serves our neighborhood.
Our faith family believes:
that the true Triune God (Father / Son / Holy Spirit) is the only true God, and belief in this God’s saving work is the only way to eternal life
that eternal life is God’s gift to you by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone
that people of every tribe, tongue, class, nation and background, through the Holy Spirit, are unified as the Church under Jesus
that God’s miracle-working power to change hearts and transform lives is limitless
that God uses ordinary, everyday sinners to carry out his extraordinary plan of healing, hope, and reconciliation
that, by faith, it’s God’s good pleasure to choose you to be an instrumental member of his family
ART Church has a new home!
ART Church now meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday evening at 5pm at Hampton Road Baptist Church in DeSoto.
On intermittent weeks, we will continue to meet on Zoom.

ART Church is a family of brothers and sisters committed to letting God’s light shine in their lives.

ART Church is foremost a group of people, not a building. We live lives of worship wherever we go.
We also value getting together for mutual support, and spending time around God’s Word together.
ART Church - DeSoto gathers every 1st and 3rd Sunday on the campus of Hampton Road Baptist Church (400 N Hampton Road in DeSoto) for in-person gatherings. Services will begin at 5pm each week.
On off weeks, we will continue meeting online at 5pm for Bible studies and spiritual encouragement.

Periodically throughout the year, ART Church leads 4-session seminars, free of charge, on the basics of Biblical theology through the lens of Martin Luther and the Lutheran Confessions.
The next Seminar will be offered in September 2023.
